To begin with, happy valentines every one. :D
And secondly, no I am not obsessed with JAPAN.
Yesterday I remembered something that I thought would be worth mentioning here. Japanese people actually have two valentines! One is the good old fashioned February 14. The other one is like two weeks after.
What happens is that valentines is supposed to be a day where WOMEN give men gifts, and NOT otherwise! I can see all the guys beaming and all the ladies frowning now… :D.
Do not worry ladies, the second is to get rid of that very frown on your face. It is actually a result of some clever marketing done by chocolate manufacturers. It is called the White Chocolate Day, and as you must have guessed already, men go about buying white chocolate to give it to the ladies on that day.
No further info I have, but thought it was worth mentioning.

well that is why it is a markettin ploy more than any thing... not a lot of people eat white chocolate... !!! well not as much as milk chocolate at least !!!
